We Often Say What We Do Not Want

When my adult son and I lived together, he did the majority of the cooking. It was his passion!

He would sometimes ask me, “What would you like for dinner?”

I would usually reply something like this, “Well, I know I do not want anything spicy hot or seafood!”

His reply, which puzzled me for the longest time, “Okay! One spicy fish taco coming up!”

He was/is a grand teacher. A Master! Over time, through his patience, he lovingly taught me to focus on what I wanted – NOT what I didn’t want.

Injoy life in joy,
