Thankful Thursday: New-Now

Every moment is a new moment. Do you agree? Right now is a new-now. What does that mean?

“When everything is lost and all seems darkness, then comes the new life and all that is needed.” ~ Joseph Campbell

We can always begin a-new in each new-now.  Are you feeling like a failure? Is fear ruling your world at this moment? Is everything in a turmoil around you? Are you disappointed in yourself? Forget all that negative rubbish, for it does not serve you. It only drags and holds you down. Instead, focus on who you want to be!  Focus on your desires that lay ahead of you. Forget who you were.  Let the past go, for you are a new you, now. Right now in this very moment. Now is all we have, which is grand and wonderful , for we can always begin a-new in each new-now.

How to know that Now is all there is! Do my words of a new-now confuse you? There is a simple way to determine each new-now moment. This is what you need to do: Look at the time. What time is it? It is Now. It is always now. I mean, have you ever looked at the time and said, “Well lookie there! It’s 5 minutes ago!” or “How about that? It’s 47 minutes from now!” No, we never say those things. Why? Because it is always a new-now, in any given moment.

What’s so great about a new-now? When we understand there is always a new-now, then that gives us permission to start a-new at any time we choose. Everything is a matter of choice, so why not choose a new way, a new feeling, a new thought, a new anything in any new-now.

“Every new beginning came from some other beginning’s end.” ~ Seneca

What about the old-now…the old-you? Always be grateful for where you came from, for it has helped to mold who you are now. One should give praise for the old-you, for the way you use to be. It served a purpose and now is time to move on to better things. Do not regret where you came from. Do not hold yourself down, because of your frown. Know that it was a page in your book, which you can now turn, for it is a new-now right now. Each and every right now is a new-now.

“Don’t hold together, what must fall apart. The familiar life crumbles so the new life can begin.” ~ Bryant H. McGill

I am grateful to you in each and every new-now moment,
