Thankful Thursday: Competition

Yes, believe it or not, I am thankful for the competition in my world. It may not be as you are thinking, though. Let me briefly explain:

Have you ever noticed that when you are always in competition with others, you tend to become bitter?

a drawing of a boy and girl, angry at each other. He has a sign over him, "I am right" Her sign, "Me too".

So why not change that around a bit and perhaps change your life? Instead of competing with others, always compete with yourself and you will become better.

How do you feel about that? Give a shout below, let me know.

As always, thank you so very much for being here,

  1. Excellent point. And we should look at athletes as examples, especially those athletes who are timed or measured. Swimmers and track athletes come to mind. As a season progresses, they push themselves against themselves. You’ll hear the term,’personal best’. It’s a good example to follow.
